Ministering to the people of Lake Chapala Mexico
The Granger’s
Dear Pastor and Praying Friends, March/May 2020 Feeding the five thousand Matthew 14:13-21 As you all know our furlough has ended and we are back in Mexico. We have only been back in Mexico for three weeks and so much has changed in those three weeks. When we returned to Zacatecas we began our plans of move to Chapala. We began packing our home and scheduled our trip to find a house. We had several homes lined up to look at and were excited to begin our transition. We even found a moving company to move our things and once we found a home we were going to come back to Zacatecas and schedule the movers to move our things. God has different plans for us now with the Coronavirus. We had to cancel our trip because it is unsafe to travel now. So as of right now I feel the Lord has us to stay right where we are. As soon as the Coronavirus is under control we will still be moving to Chapala. The President has closed the border to Mexico and is only allowing essential travel to cross. All though he will allow us to return because we are US citizens, I feel the Lord has us to stay right here in Zacatecas. So, with that said, all though the Virus is not at its full strength here, yet I feel it will be here very soon. We are practicing social distancing and only going out for food or to the doctor if needed. The government has not put regulations in our area yet, for us to follow, so I also feel the Lord is still allowing me to continue to minister to the people here but in some different ways so we can be safe, keep the people safe and try to stay healthy the best we know how. One way I feel God is leading, is to help those people in need of food. The selves in some of the stores are beginning to empty. Most of the Mexican people cannot afford to stock up on food. Most only buy their food daily and only buy what they need. I believe God has laid upon my heart to start a campaign called FEED THE FIVE THOUSAND! We can be a blessing to the people around us thru this time of need. We will take precautions while we go door to door. Along with the food we will be giving out tracks with the Gospel on them. Pray with us as we enter this endeavor for GOD! Pray that we are able not only feed people but thru witnessing we will be able to see people saved! Our goals for this endeavor are to see souls saved and people feed. We would like to reach five thousand people with the gospel or more! If the Mexican government allows us to go out and do this, we will. If we must take a break from the campaign, we will pick back up as soon as we can! If you would please consider helping finically it would be a great blessing. It would cost 5 dollars to feed a family for a day but, if they accept Christ as their savior that will last for eternity! Please put FEEDING THE FIVE THOUSAND in the memo. You can send your donations to: All Points Baptist Missions P.O.
