The Grangers
Dear Pastor and Praying Friends, April Update 2020 Feeding the five thousand Matthew 14:13-21 Dear Pastor and Praying Friends, 2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” During these very difficult times we have faith God is still doing a work here in Mexico. As we look around and see the hardships that people are going through, struggling to meet their daily needs for, food, medicine and other essentials. God is using you, the people in the US, to help them. These last couple of months we have seen people cry out and thank God for Him feeding their families. The majority of the Mexico people can not stock pile for food, like we can as Americans. These people seriously live day by day, meal by meal. Today I read an article in the news that the Lake Chapala area, where we will be moving, was on strict isolation regulations and if the people do not abide by these regulations they will be arrested and put in jail for up to 38 hours. They are also checking before entering the area if you have a temperature and if you are a resident of the area. As these restrictions get tighter and tighter it will be harder and harder for these people to survive. As of today the government has extended the, stay at home order, till May 30th nation wide. So another five weeks. In Zacatecas we are still allowed to be out for essentials and we have no curfew in place yet. So with that being said, we feel the Lord is still giving us the opportunity to continue with the “Feed the Five Thousand” campaign. Recently, a very generous person has given a gift that has allowed us to add to the bags we are handing out. We have been able to add oil and pasta to the bags of food. So, the bags we are handing out include; rice, beans, flour, oil, pasta and of course a book of Romans and a gospel tract. While handing out food this opens the door for us to share the gospel with people and to pray with them and to share the love of Christ with them. During this time we are not allowed to have groups meeting for bible study or church services but we are still allowed to pass out the food and love on the people here. God has given us a heart for the Mexican people and we want to love them and help them as much as God will allow us to. Please continue to help us pray for the Mexican people here in this area. We know times are hard for everyone financially and don’t want to burden anyone but if you have the means to give and feel led to donate to “Feed the Five Thousand” you can do so through our website missionary2mexcio.com. Please put “Feed the Five Thousand” in the memo. Thank you and God bless! In His Service Bro. Alan S. Granger 1 Samuel 17:29
